Case Study: Yearsley Group CCTV Installation across 7 distribution centers throughout the UK
The Project: Yearsley Group, a leading UK Cold Storage and Distribution company based in Manchester needed greater visibility of customer product being moved around the main 7 sites based across England and Scotland.

In an effort to combat rising claims for pallets "not being received" it was decided to install CCTV cameras on each loading bay door to record pallets on and off their trailers.
The Solution: FORESIGHTtechnical were asked to put forward a design and install solution which enabled Yearsley Group to get the maximum benefit from a CCTV installation.

The design included deploying over 110 CCTV cameras strategically positioned to gain maximum visibility of pallet movements 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across all sites. Digital recorders were chosen that offered cost effective reliability, flexibility and ease of use.

The system allows tractability from site to site, viewable from any site on the local LAN. Evidence is recordable to CD which can be used in the event of a potential Claim.
